Meet the Owner | Chris Finn, CPA

I am a Bentley University graduate with Master of Science degrees in both Accounting and Taxation. I have over 20+ years of tax, accounting and audit experience. I hold numerous professional certifications including: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified in Financial Forensics, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Construction Auditor and Chartered Global Management Accountant. I achieved my Certified Public Accountant status in 2001, after passing all four parts of the exam on the first attempt (less than 10% of exam takers pass on the first try!).

I am an active member of a number of national and international associations including, but not limited to: the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. I regularly participate in Continuing Professional Education courses offered by local chapters of national accounting and tax associations which help keep me on the leading edge of ever-changing tax laws and accounting methods. I have frequently performed presentations on a number of financial and accounting related topics and actively participate in my local community on various committees and volunteer efforts.

I have always had a love for finance and the chance to help others. Fortunately, the tax preparation and accounting services industry has provided me the opportunity to pursue both of my passions at the same time. Personally, I am an avid ice hockey fan and actively pursue that love by participating in multiple leagues and refereeing games at the youth, high school and college levels throughout the year.
